A significant step forward in global hair transplant techniques is the combination of the two latest methods, FUE and Micro Strip.

Each technique on its own can provide us with the maximum number of hair follicles per procedure, without risking shock to either the donor area (from which we extract the follicles) or the recipient area.

With the FUE technique, the maximum number of follicles is 2,000 per session.
This means that, in cases of diffuse alopecia, only a portion of the scalp will be covered, requiring the patient to return for a second or even a third session.

With the Micro Strip technique, we extract 3 to 4 small pieces of skin, which are then separated under stereoscopic microscopes. This method can give us an additional 2,000 to 2,500 follicles (depending on density).

This way, nearly the entire scalp can be covered in a single session, as the total number of follicles extracted exceeds 4,000.

The benefits of combining these two techniques include avoiding scarring and obtaining a large number of follicles with great safety for the grafts. As a result, the success of the procedure is almost guaranteed, with success rates of 98%.

A key factor in this success is the use of stereoscopic microscopes for separating and processing the grafts in both techniques. This ensures that the grafts are not damaged and can be grouped in a way that mimics natural hair growth.
